The second number is the value of the front pot, controlled by the outer shaft. On switched pots, the switch is part of the rear pot and is controlled by the inner shaft. The letter "A" means that the pot is tapered. The letter "B" means that the pot is linear. FOR EXAMPLE: 25KA/10KB/SW means that -- the rear pot is 25,000 ohms and is tapered, the front pot is 10,000 ohms and is linear, and the rear pot is switched
